The retreat
The Grand Oak pairs the wonder of a real rustic treehouse with the luxury comforts you want after a day outside. It sleeps up to seven across two private queen bedrooms and an upstairs loft, with two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, a spacious living area, and a wide private wraparound deck.
You don't have to manufacture the fun here. Start with coffee on the deck, play a few holes of mountain disc golf, then scale the adventure trail to the 5-story Summit Tower — the rope-assisted final stretch is part of the adventure, and the reward is 360° views across the White Mountains, the forest canopy, and three lakes. Ring the summit bell, spend the afternoon on a trail or a lake, then come back to a shared meal, a long soak in the sunken tub, and music on the record player.
This is childhood treehouse wonder made comfortable for adults: rugged character, warm wood, luxury bedding, and an inviting place to land — built for families, couples traveling together, friend groups, and multi-generational trips.
