Getting here

The drive in is half the magic

From Portland (~1.5 hrs)

North on Route 302 through Bridgton, then up into the Lakes & Mountains region to Stoneham. Scenic the whole way.

From Boston (~3 hrs)

I-95 north to I-495, then west toward the Maine lakes. The last stretch winds through the White Mountain foothills.

Road access

Paved nearly to the door; the final stretch is a maintained dirt road. Spring–fall any car is fine; deep winter, AWD/4WD recommended.
