When we discovered this incredible 56-acre property in Maine’s White Mountain National Forest region, we saw treehouses, off-grid cabins, trails, a mountaintop lookout, disc golf, campfires, stars — and enormous potential.

We fell in love with the idea of creating a place where rugged adventure meets unexpected luxury.

Since becoming the owners in 2026, we’ve been thoughtfully elevating the experience while protecting everything that made In the Trees special in the first place. New mattresses and beautiful bedding. Plush blankets, pillows and rugs. Espresso and coffee bars. Premium soaps and personal-care products. New outdoor furnishings and private firepits. Hot tubs tucked among the trees. And soon, fireplaces inside Grand Oak and Spruce Suite.

Individually, they’re details. Together, they change how a getaway feels.

We want you to hike, explore, play disc golf, climb to the Summit Tower, and spend your days immersed in this remarkable property — then return to a space that feels beautiful, warm, indulgent, and completely unexpected in the middle of the woods.
