Guest Reviews:

"Amazing stay in an A frame. Tucked away back on property where it's nice and quiet. Plenty to do on property and hiking trails and frisbee golf. Owners and staff were friendly." Sylvia, June 2024

"Off the beaten path, but TOTALLY worth the drive! The cabin was spacious and perfect for 3 people. The loft was great for my 6ft 2in son and the 2 futon beds were perfect for sleeping and relaxing. We didn't get to play frisbee golf (too much rain), but the course looked fun and challenging. The area had a playground for kids, community campfire and a REALLY COOL TOWER! The hike to the tower is a tough one and not for the faint of heart, but 100% worth it! My son flew his drone off the top of the tower and got some excellent pictures. If you like to stop and take pictures DO NOT MISS this little gem. Overall great cabins, fantastic hosts and fabulous views!" -unknown, June 2024

"Extremely clean and well stocked place, the office was wonderful and had plenty of items to buy last minute! Owners and staff were super friendly!" -Krista, November 2023

"Absolutely incredible little getaway. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. The treehouse was lovely, with a potbelly stove and picnic table outside. Cleanest outhouse I've ever had the pleasure of using. The watchtower is a short, but tough climb that pays off with unbelievable views. Would love to go again someday, and will be recommending it to friends and family."-Ben, June 2023.

"This place was so much better than we excepted. We wanted a place in the area that was unique but mostly close to the things we wanted to do in the area, outdoors. Never expecting that we would enjoy disc golf and the property so much. We actually changed up our plans to stay on the property more over the weekend. The treehouse is the coolest thing ever. Amazing fire pit area, incredible views from the tower and the owners could not be nicer. 10 out of 10 guys trip but next time, I'll be back with my family. Just the perfect spot in western Maine for any group." -Ray, August 2022

"Such a unique find! The location was beautiful, owners were friendly, and there were lots of thoughtful touches. We will definitely be back!" October 2024

"Fabulous stay. Took my adult daughter and her two dogs out for a quick overnight adventure. Loved staying in The Birdie. Perfect size, location on property was good (away from other structures) and had picnic table, potbelly stove, grill and outhouse right next to the treehouse. They supplied bedding, camp chairs and even a small battery powered fan. They also offered and we accepted ATV transport of our things from the parking lot to the treehouse. Did a local mountain hike recommended by the owner in the afternoon, and then did the hike to the tower on their property the next morning. Hike to the tower and subsequent climb up the tower is a must. Hoping to be able to come back in the fall!" -Nancy, July 2023

"My family had a wonderful time at the property! So much to do and we enjoyed walking around, playing on the disc golf course and had fun climbing an amazing lookout tower. The fire pit area was really cool as well. A perfect experience and will highly recommend! I live in the area and this will be a go to for any family and friends that visit in the future!" -James, June 2023

"Stayed 2 nights at the Grand Oak Tree House and loved it! Amanda was always quick to reply to any of my questions leading up to our stay, and we were warmly welcomed by Carrie when we arrived. The rental was very clean and had all the amenities. Plus how can you beat staying in a Tree house? They recommended local beaches and hikes, had a fun playground and large fire pit. While we didn't have time to give the disk golf a try, there were other guests that were having fun playing the course. The experience was amazing for all ages, even the 18 month old had a blast! Definitely recommend and would go back in a heart beat! Thanks for such a fun vacation!" -Sarah, July 2022
